Why Is a Leakage Detection Sensor Module
Needed for Bidets?
COBON TECH supplies an integrated leakage detection module that combines the core leakage detection circuit and coil sensor in a single unit and is completely sealed with urethane molding to protect it from moisture and contamination. As it is provided in module form, it can be easily integrated into products without the need to design a separate leakage detection circuit, reducing development time and design complexity.
Optimized for electronic bidets that use both water and electricity, the module provides stable leakage current detection performance, helping prevent electric shock accidents and improve product safety and reliability. Its high resistance to moisture and environmental conditions also makes it suitable for various outdoor applications, including equipment and streetlights in coastal areas.

Electronic bidets use both water and electricity, and small leakage currents may occur due to internal condensation or moisture ingress. Therefore, continuous leakage current monitoring is required to ensure safe use even in humid bathroom environments.
The leakage current protection module installed inside the bidet detects small leakage currents in real time, enabling early detection of abnormal conditions. This allows rapid protective action before electrical hazards can escalate.
When leakage current occurs, the protection module quickly detects it and sends an abnormality signal to the protection system. This enables the system to perform the necessary protective action, while enhancing the safety of the product itself independently of the protection provided by the household distribution board, thereby reducing the risk of electric shock and improving product reliability.
