Current Sensor

This is a non-contacting flux gate voltage/current sensor that measures voltage/current by detecting electromagnetic field around an electric wire.

GENERAL FEATURE

  • DC/AC pulse voltage/current measuring
  • Nano-crystal flux gate technology
  • Wire implementation using core embedded PCB

Product (Technological) Features

Current-Sensor03
  • Oscillation signal is applied to magnetize two cores in opposite polarity. With a 180-degree phase difference applied to the LC oscillation signal, DC current is detected by connecting coils (W1, W2) to the two cores.
  • AC current is detected using a coil (W3) that is connected to another core.
  • Compensated current that corresponds to the AC and DC current measured is applied to a coil (W4) that has been connected to share the three cores above
(the compensated current must be applied under a condition to offset the magnetic flux generated by the target current for measuring).
  • The target current is measured through the compensated current measuring.
