C earth leakage detector COB (Ior-COB) prevents an earth leakage breaking module from operating through the capacitive leakage current (Ioc).

Resistive leakage current [Ior] : Eakage current that flows because of an earth fault
Resistive leakage current [Ioc] : Leakage current that flows because of an earth fault
Capacitive leakage current [Io] : Leakage current that flows at all times through self-capacity without an earth fault
As the existing earth leakage breaker is operated by the (Io) value of a composite leakage current, the breaker is often automatically cut off because of the Ioc that flows through the LED lamp, computer power, inverter, etc.

There is no automatic trip in an C earth leakage detector COB (Ior-COB) as it has been designed to not operate in less than three times the Ioc current.

Operating current of C earth leakage detector COB (Ior-COB) : Ior = 25mA / Ioc = 3 X Ior = 75mA
